Can you adapt a project designed abroad to Chilean regulations?
Yes. We review drawings, specifications and brand standards, decide what stays and what needs to change, and develop the project for Chile. We did this, for example, for Avolta (Dufry)'s Duty Free and Duty Paid stores at Santiago Airport.
Who files the building permit in Chile?
The application is filed with the Municipal Works Department (DOM) by an architect licensed in Chile acting as the architect of record. We take on that role and make sure the project keeps the original design team's intent.
What do you need to get started?
The original drawings and specifications, your corporate manuals or standards, the location of the site or unit, and the expected timeline. With that we prepare a proposal with scope, deliverables and fees.
Do you work with teams based in other countries?
Yes. We work in Spanish and English, with online meetings and regular reports, and we are on site in Chile whenever the project requires it.
Which sectors do you have experience in?
Industrial and logistics, commercial and retail, and airport architecture, with more than 200 projects developed in Chile.
